So I intended to look at the Easter Story through the lens of Mary Magdalene, one of the primary figures in the Easter Story. It’s something I’ve never done before. But as I researched this famous female in the bible, I discovered something disturbing. I was reminded again of the gender-bias that has plagued the Christian church and other religions too, for 1000’s of years. Though the church has progressed – sadly, the frustration and the suffering continues. Something needs to be said.
