Speaker: Jeff Jarvis

I saw a Facebook memory pop up the other day.  It was a photo of my family that I had posted a few years ago. I couldn’t believe how much my kids had changed since that picture was taken.  Not just facial hair 🙂 but their values and perspectives, goals in life, the increasing responsibilities they’re assuming. As a parent, it’s a crazy weird thing to watch your kid(s) grow up and mature.  For some, the process of maturity seems to happen effortlessly, for others, it seems to take more time and be more elusive.

Spiritual maturity is a lot the same.  Some seem to evolve and grow in dramatic and very tangible ways while others seem unchanged by their religious activities.  Which makes you wonder…What are the signs of spiritual growth and maturity?  Is it even possible to know if/when you are progressing or stagnating?  Should a person even be tracking their spiritual progress?

Growing up in religious circles I’ve heard a lot of different answers to these questions over the years, but on Sunday, I want to share some recent thoughts on growth and the process of spiritual development.   Wouldn’t you like to know what spiritual growth might look like for you and what your next steps might be?   Invite a friend and join us at the gym this Sunday.
