I recently read a book entitled the Sin of Certainty by Peter Enns. And besides the provocative title, he talks about this idea of trusting in something More than ourselves that has fascinated me. That’s all fine and good for those that fit in traditional church. Trust God, no problem. But what do we do when our ideas of God don’t fit that simple formula. Does trusting God, or something More still have meaning for us?

Spoiler alert, I think it does. It just demands that we look very closely at how we conceive of God, and our spiritual ancestors have a bunch of things to say about that. See you for the final service of 2017, and the beginning of an amazing Spiritual year in 2018.

P.S. Atheists, you might be surprised at just how much you may resonate with this discussion.
