Speaker: Jeff Jarvis

Do you have any controlling people in your life?  You know..the kind who like to make the decisions, who feel the need to comment about something they don’t like or believe on people’s Facebook pages.  You know, the ones who will correct things you say or show their disapproval for something you’re doing or wearing?  Can you tell that I’m annoyed by these kinds of people? Yeah, I’d really like to vent about these types, but I have to be careful.  I can’t say too much because I’m guilty of this very thing.  And when I do, it tends to create all kinds of issues.
Why can’t we just allow people to make their own choices and express themselves in their own unique way?  What’s underneath this kind of behavior?  How can we stop doing this?  For anyone who’s ever felt controlled by someone or has been guilty of trying to control others, I think this message about “Allowing” might offer some help.  This is the last “A” in this series about the 5 A’s, so Invite a friend and get your butt into the gym this Sunday.
