I was listening to a Podcast about a funeral for Christopher Leinonen, a 32 year old gay man, who was brutally shot and killed in the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando Florida. On the day of the funeral, 2 things happened. A group of people traveled over 18 hours to protest the funeral (I know, who protests at a funeral). But another group spent days building Angel Wings, basically mobile curtains, to protect the grieving family from the first group.

What drives people to do things like this? On either side – protest or protect. What has the ability to influence that type of action? And how can we learn to use it to make the world all around us a better place?

A power that is, I think, inside all of us. Join us at the Spiritual Gym this Sunday to keep working on your unique spirituality.
