Amazing podcast (RadioLab is one of my all time favorites) but this episode was a fascinating look on how we interpret events in our lives in light of our spirituality.

I found this episode was great. It left me thinking about the way that we can perceive an action to have very different meanings based on our perspective. From the perspective of the cancer survivor, I can understand believing that a miracle had occurred. But not from the donors. Even if I have a very narrow band of tolerance for believing that a true supernatural miracle has occurred, the fact that the survivor beat his cancer through having a completely new immune system thrown into his body, and that human kindness can compell someone to go through this procedure to save a complete stranger, is truly a miracle in itself.
