Sadly, all of us have been hurt by someone in our lives. Some a little, many a lot! The little hurts we can Move On from easily, but big ones, they turn into wounds that we carry with us: hurtful words we just can’t forget, behaviors that have us cringing, moments in our lives too painful to even look at. And the scary thing is, our lives are getting hijacked by these wounds. They have us reacting in ways we would never ever imagine. We can’t live like we want to. We hide, we avoid, and we medicate. Is that how we want to live? Or do we want to Move On from these wounds? Heal them? Find freedom from them?

To that end, we are spending four weeks looking at how we Move On from these wounds. The first week we looked at the core of the problem and then looked at the first step of finding freedom: telling our stories of hurt. If you didn’t get a chance to listen, please do. You can find it here https://www.friendschurch.ca/the-pain-is-real/

This week, we are going to explore the next 2 steps. Why? Because I think we are all sick and tired of caring these wounds around with us. Sick and tired of the baggage. Sick and tired of them running our lives.

So, if freedom sounds interesting to you, if that’s how you want to start your 2019 then we want to invite you to join us this week, as we take the next step in our journey towards freedom.

If you have a friend in your life that needs to find freedom from their wounds, invite them along. It might be the nicest thing you can do for them this year.
