Unfortunately this update is not the best of news but we want to keep you posted.
Nothing is firm about the position of the current mayor. The Supreme court of Justice has not reaffirmed the position of the new mayor since the former one is still fighting for a new election “crazy, crazy…”
What I’ve seen is a constant commitment from the community leaders of Rio Azul; 3 weeks ago they met up with a civil engineer to finalize some details related to the treatment plant infrastructure. Our field staff collected a report from the village last week and as soon as it is translated I will send it to you.
Thank you so much on being so patient. I know it has been hard to wait, wait and wait. I believe it is better to continue waiting until we have the legal status to implement the project rather than going ahead without it and having issues later.
