Speaker: Vince Klassen

According to expert research “we are the most in debt, obese, addicted, and medicated adult cohort in adult history. The problem is… you cannot selectively numb emotions…so when we numb [those emotions like fear, shame, guilt, and inadequacy]… then we also numb joy, we numb happiness, and then we are miserable…”

And the question is, does numbing those hard emotions – the pain and suffering in our lives, the fear of being exposed or truly seen, the shame of not having the perfect life – does that numb our connection to God?

This is the start of our Quiet series, designed to help us learn our part in connecting with God. We want to learn the things we can do to encourage that to happen. And in the end, have lives more connected to God than ever before.

Join us this week as we explore those things in our lives that we might be numbing in order to life our lives fully, and be able to connect with God fully.
