After almost 2 years of the stress of pandemic life, the Cracks in many of our Foundations have been revealed to us or to the people around us: unkind words, impatience, raised voices, pulling away, demanding, silence etc. You name it, we have done it. And it hasn't always been pretty!

If our Spiritual Journeys include making the world around us a better place, the Cracks in our Foundations are doing the opposite of that. They seem to come out of nowhere and hijack amazing moments. Bring pain and hurt. That's not what we are about is it?

What do we do with these moments?
How do we stop hurting ourselves and the people around us?

The Cracks in our Foundations are those things from our pasts that snuck into our psyches from our upbringing, from experiences we lived through (ones we remember or ones we don't), even from how we are wired in a world that isn't necessarily wired the same way. Its all still in there. Stuck up in our brains, hijacking our lives. Make us into people we don't even recognize. Making us hurt the very people we love. These are the Cracks in our Foundations.

Our Model of our Spiritual Journeys suggests we start with the spiritual work of Awareness? Awareness of these Cracks. Awareness of our hurts and triggers.
Awareness of how the things outside of us cause us to behave in ways that don't fit our values.

Awareness is where it starts.

That's where this series is going? Its doing the spiritual work of becoming Aware of the impacts of the Cracks in our Foundation. Becoming Aware of how those Cracks have hurt us and the people around us. So that we can heal, become healthier, happier. So we invite you to commit to doing this work. 4 weeks to explore the Cracks and find strategies for healing
