Stuff happens to us every day. Some of it is small, some of it is big. Some of it is recent, much of it is old. But it is still sticking to us in unhealthy ways. Creating unhealthy coping strategies. There are many names for it, we are calling it:

Resentment

Its the scar tissue left over after being mistreated or misunderstood.

There have been many ways to try to avoid dealing with this scar tissues. We are a creative species when it comes to avoiding dealing with hard things, and Resentment is often really hard to deal with. So:

  • We numb

  • We attack

  • We blame

  • We beat ourselves up

Anything to avoid dealing with the scar tissue - the Resentment.

We are going to take a few weeks to wrestle with our Resentment. Figure out how we are avoiding dealing with it. And then to explore healthy ways through our Resentment to find freedom. That freedom, for us and for the people all around us, is the Spiritual juice we are looking for.
