Many biblical verses are like inkblot images, revealing more about us than about the text in question.
How often is it the case that my interpretation of a verse is actually a window through which I can see my own soul?
And when I disagree with someone over a verse, does it give me the glimpse, if I’m willing to see it, of their soul?
