Hurricane Harvey has brought unprecedented destruction to Texas and the real toll of lives lost, communities hurting, and homes and businesses destroyed is just beginning to unfold.  Harvey is the most powerful hurricane to hit the US since 2005.  The recovery is going to be long and hard; that’s why we’ve partnered with All Hands Volunteers.  All Hands is committing to be on the ground for at least the next two years, helping families recover from this disaster.

All Hands is a volunteer-powered disaster relief organization dedicated to Rebuilding Hope for people impacted by natural disasters all over the world. They believe in the power of the individual when driven by a desire to make a difference. Sounds a lot like Taking Water!

We love that they take a unique approach from other relief organizations and accept spontaneous volunteers from any background or faith, providing on-the-job training free of charge.  All Hands Rebuilding Hope after Hurricane Harvey is quickly ramping up operations in Texas which will continue until 2019.  No special skills or previous experience is necessary, just a willingness to work hard for a good cause. For more information or to apply as a volunteer check out All Hands Hurricane Harvey Response.

You can also donate today to help the thousands of families who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey. 100% of all donations will be used to help victims recover and rebuild over the difficult weeks and months to come.
