I know someone who was cut off one time and they got so upset, so blind with rage, they tailgated the other car all the way to Okotoks. the police got involved and everything, it was ugly.

I talked with a parent who was so hurt by something their child didn’t do for them they haven’t talked with their child in over 2 years – completely ignored their child for 2 years. Because their feelings were hurt!

I’ve been in situations where I was upset with someone and what came out of my mouth was so hurtful to the other person that I’m not sure our relationship will ever be the same.

I’ve worked in businesses where the stress of the business owner came out and blasted a customer and we all had to just stand there and watch the trainwreck.

I’ve seen couples, who am I kidding, I’ve been one of those couples, who in the middle of a fight say something so horrible to the person they love, the person that they committed to spending their life with, and yet they say something so hurtful that that wound will never be repaired. That relationship will never be the same again.

Chances are we have all said or done something in an emotional moment that we are not proud of. That we would take back if we could.

  • Why is this happening?
  • Why do our emotions cause us to do such brutal things?
  • And why do our emotions hurt those we love the most?

If any of this resonates with you, come join us this week at the Spiritual Gym where we will explore the spirituality of an Emotional Reset.

P.S. if you invite a friend who has blown up at you, maybe don’t tell them what it’s about this week 🙂
