The Ten Commandments…would you know what they are? Do you try to follow them? You should, shouldn’t you? After all, they’re not the “Ten Suggestions” (joke). Maybe all you know about them is what you remember seeing in one of the old Hollywood movies with Charleton Heston playing Moses. What many don’t realize is that this list of prescribed behaviors written on some stone tablets thousands of years ago, marked a major shift in how people interacted with the Divine. This Sunday we begin a dialogue between us and the ten commandments.
