“Superficiality is the curse of this age” -Richard Foster

Often we find that the development of the inner life and the external life seem to be at odds with each other. The drive to be successful and appear to “have it all” (external life), pushes up against our internal desire (soul) for quiet, peace, fullness and Soul Care. Strange isn’t it, how two parts of the same life can fight against the others most important needs and wants.

Today we will explore the deep work we call Soul Care and how to acknowledge our Soul’s needs through various stages in life. Being part of a spiritual community and working on our spirituality doesn’t mean we are always doing this Soul work that leads to the balanced, healthy life we seek. If you or someone you know is out of sync on this, join us in the Spiritual Gym this Sunday…it will be a great workout.
