I was in a dark place personally and sitting over breakfast with my mom who was visiting from out of town. In the middle of the conversation she said something that, without her even realizing it, created a thin place moment for me that undeniably left a mark on me. It altered my mood, my outlook, my will to keep fighting through some tough stuff. Has someone’s words or actions ever left you so deeply impacted that you knew something “More” had just happened? Could it be that the people in our lives – family, friends, authors, podcasters, children, even strangers have the potential to be catalysts for personal thin place moments – without them even knowing it? Is it possible to miss out on these moments if we’re not paying attention? Could these potential thin place moments that are created by others, be lurking in your life but you’re missing out because you’re not expecting them? Let’s talk about this today.
