We all navigate various relationships in our lives—be it with family, friends, colleagues, or neighbors. Yet, have you ever noticed how some of these relationships tend to be more challenging than others? Perhaps certain individuals prove to be more difficult to connect with or understand. Alternatively, we might even find ourselves being the challenging one in these dynamics, leaving others struggling to maintain a relationship with us.

What lies at the heart of these difficulties? Often, it's rooted in our past experiences, influencing our present interactions in subtle yet profound ways. Past traumas or unresolved issues can make us hypersensitive to certain situations, causing us to react poorly or unkindly.

We refer to this phenomenon as:

"Relation$hit"—the lingering effects of our pasts that complicate our current relationships.

Within the framework of the Jesus tradition, the command to "love your neighbor" could be viewed as an invitation to confront our Relation$hit and embark on a journey of healing. By addressing and resolving our past issues, we can become agents of love in the world, rather than being pulled into reactive patterns and lacking in relational skillfulness.

Therefore, we warmly invite you to join us in a series of discussions aimed at overcoming the Relation$hit within ourselves and in those around us.

Series ran April - May 2024
