In our earliest stories of our tradition, Wisdom has held a special place. In fact Wisdom, called Lady Wisdom in the Bible, was seen as divine. And in some sense, when we live wisely, its almost like there is something divine touching our lives: things seem to go smoother, we find more meaningful interactions, our grasp of the world around us feels more innate.

The cognitive scientist Jon Vervaeke tells us that even though the word Wisdom seems simple and straightforward, it's cognitively a much deeper set of competencies than just memorizing a set of rules. Wisdom instructs us at multiple levels of how we know things. It affords us a way of interrelating with our world that honors the I while still balancing I with They. What we call living in We.

In this series, we are going to explore those areas that our spiritual ancestors called Wisdom. We are going to help identify where these pieces of Wisdom tend to interact in and through us each and every day. And we are going to strive towards a set of practices, rituals, realizations that bring Wisdom, and all it affords us, into our everyday lives.

We, in the words of our Spiritual Ancestors, are going to touch the divine through realizing Wisdom in our lives.
