17th Annual Christmas Hamper Giveaway

The 17th Annual Christmas Hamper Giveaway, was a heartwarming success, bringing joy and support to 20 struggling families in our community this holiday season. On November 10th, we released a list of needs and wishes for both children and adults, allowing our generous community members to select items to fulfill those requests. The goal was simple yet impactful: to create custom-tailored Christmas Hampers filled with love and thoughtful gifts.

Thanks to the compassion and dedication of our Friends Church community, each family received a hamper that was carefully crafted based on their individual needs and wishes. Community members stepped up as Christmas Hamper Sponsors, ensuring that the diverse and specific desires of each family member were met.

On December 8th, volunteers gathered at the Social Hall to wrap the gifts that had been donated. The energy was filled with excitement and camaraderie as we came together to wrap up the hampers, knowing that the work we did would have a lasting impact. These hampers were then delivered to the families in time for Christmas, providing not only material support but also a sense of connection and care.

The generosity displayed throughout this event was truly inspiring. We thank everyone who participated, whether through donations, wrapping presents, or offering their time and resources.
