Community Care for Jessica: Welcoming New Life Together

In a season that called for courage and compassion, our Friends Church community came together to support one of our own. Jessica, stepping into a new chapter of life while preparing to welcome her baby girl, faced significant challenges—but she did not face them alone.

As her story was shared, the need became clear. Preparing for a newborn while navigating recovery and financial strain is no small weight to carry. Basic essentials, safe space, and a sense of stability were all urgent and necessary in the weeks leading up to her baby’s arrival.

Moments like this remind us that Taking Water isn’t just something we say—it’s how we live. As a church family, we responded with generosity, care, and intentional support—rallying around Jessica to help her begin again with dignity and hope.

That’s why Friends Church launched the Community Support for New Mom Water Project. Through donated baby items, gift cards, and financial contributions, our community worked together to meet real, practical needs during a critical time.
