There's a guy named Paul, one of our spiritual ancestors, who wrote this line about 2000 years ago. He said (and I paraphrase), “I do what I'm not supposed to do, I don't do what I'm supposed to do. What is with me??”

I can't help but look at the pastry I bought with my breakfast this morning, the pastry that I don't need, that's full of sugar. I know my body isn't going to like it. So why did I buy it?!?

There is something inside of us, some people personify it, some people just feel its pull, that takes us from where we want to go, or is healthy to go, and ends up taking us someplace completely different. And it’s done this for so very long that we can hardly tell if that drive is really us? Or, if its helping us?

This Sunday, Miranda Steinwand, a long-time member of our community, is going to share her deeply touching story of her fight to figure out these forces in her life, and find a way to reconnect with the true her. You don't want to miss this one.
