Speaker: Vince Klassen

It’s kinda funny, isn’t it…We contradict ourselves regularly, don’t we? We Say we want to save money and go out and buy that new toy/outfit/car We regularly say one thing and do another. We pledge to do better….but often, we don’t. We are walking, talking contradictions We parent like we can shape our children into perfect human beings while knowing that their genetics will color much of what they do through their lives. We engage in risky behaviours, smoking, eating poorly, being inactive, knowing that they increase our risk of future illness. But we think somehow we are going to beat the odds. We think of the lottery as our retirement plan, even though the odds of winning the lotto 6-49 is something like 14 000 000 to 1. Could it be that our view of God has a contradiction as well? Join us for our last Sunday of the Spiritual Mentors Series, as we explore 2 contradictory mentors. Could it be that our view of God has a contradiction as well?
