Speaker: Jeff Jarvis

For years research has been waving red flags about the growing level of loneliness in our culture. Did you know that the number of people who have no one to talk to about difficult things has tripled in the last decade? That the average social circle has shrunk by 1/3rd in the same time? That more people don’t have a confidante than those who do?  In fact, before the pandemic, we were lonelier and more disconnected than we’ve ever been.  Can you imagine what the stats would say now?

Chances are very good that if you’re not struggling with loneliness, you know someone who is. But the solution, we’re learning, isn’t intuitive. Sometimes we can find ourselves doing things that make matters worse without even realizing it. This Sunday we’re going to explain how/why that happens and talk about what can be done to chip away at the loneliness we’re experiencing.

No matter where you may be Sunday morning, carve out an hour and plan to join us at the gym.
