This week on Disagreeing Beautifully we’re discussing what has been a controversial subject worldwide. We’re talking about MAID: A program that provides people with medical assistance in dying. Should a suffering person have the right to choose to die sooner than they naturally would? We’ll interview someone whose father chose to be euthanized and learn how it worked and affected the family. We’ll also explore reasons why this program has created controversy – highlighting some arguments being made on both sides.

We don’t need you to agree with everything that is said – agreement isn’t our goal. Nor are we advocating one particular viewpoint. Our goal is to understand and empathize at a deeper level with those whom we disagree. Because, ultimately, we believe our ability to engage in respectful dialogue is needed now, more than ever, to heal our world.
