Day 3 of Construction: A Turning Point
We started Day 3 with some concern. The delays from the previous day had put us behind schedule, and the question lingered—would we be able to catch up?
But as soon as we arrived, our construction captains, Jay and Dylan, gathered the team and walked us through each crucial step. Despite our exhaustion, something shifted. The team rallied, pushing past fatigue with renewed determination. Not only did we finish on schedule—we wrapped up early.
The highlight of the day, however, wasn’t just our progress. It was the look on Cenaida’s face as she watched her family’s home take shape. Her joy was contagious as she shared her dreams—starting a bread-making business, filling the house with laughter, and creating memories with her grandkids.
What was once just a dream is now becoming a reality.
