As we finish off the Fearmongering Series, we ask a final question. If we assume that there is a literal eternal hell and a literal eternal heaven, how do we know which one we are going to when we die? What’s the criteria? How do I stay out of hell?? I don’t know about you, but I’d rather avoid the bad one and get the good one if at all possible!!

Like the rest of the series, there are no black and white answers. But there is a way of doing spirituality that honors all that we have learned. To grow and live out full spiritual lives without resorting to believing in ways that no longer work for us. That’s the path this whole series has been built to show you.

The pathway is tricky sometimes but if you learn to navigate it, the spiritual world opens up to each of us in a way that it couldn’t before. We want to invite you to join us this Sunday and take the final step on the journey.

Whether it was the hope for a future reunion with loved ones or the possibility of reward for having lived a more responsible and caring way on earth, or maybe it’s the possibility of having a better life than one was given here on earth. Regardless of the reasons, this belief in heaven is something many have held close.

This Sunday, I want to explore what this hope for heaven may tell us about ourselves. What is it that one’s belief in heaven gives them? Having a better understanding of this, I believe, can help you and me live more mindfully today. We hope you’ll invite a friend and join us.
