Project Mexico 2024

For nearly two decades, Friends Church has partnered with Amor Ministries to bring hope and transformation to families in Tijuana, Mexico. Through Project Mexico, we’ve built over 30 homes for families who once lived in overcrowded, insecure shelters—giving them not just walls and a roof, but a foundation for a better future.

This year, in 2024, another incredible team of students, parents, and adults answered the call to be Water Carriers—people who bring life, change, and hope wherever they go. Together, they traveled to Tijuana, worked shoulder-to-shoulder with a hardworking family, and helped build a home that represents safety, dignity, and new beginnings.

Project Mexico has always been about more than construction. It’s about transformation—both for the families we serve and for those who serve. Time and time again, we’ve seen students return with new gratitude, compassion, and a deeper understanding of what it means to live for others.
