I’ll be the first to admit that I love to start things, but I’m not great at seeing projects or aspirations or dreams all the way to completion. It’s the part of my natural wiring I’m most annoyed and embarrassed about. In fact, I feel nervous about this new series -- because this is, essentially, the subject matter.

This series is about finding ways to consistently engage in the most meaningful practices and behaviors and events in our lives. We’re talking about the systems that prevent getting side-tracked and forgetting what is most important. Systems that prevent us from having to settle for much less than what could be.

Perhaps you do this flawlessly. You have found ways to focus your life on only the most meaningful activities and couldn’t imagine experiencing a more meaningful life than you already do. If this is you, then perhaps you should stay home and sit this message out. Maybe even sit this series out. And I hate you… (joking).

However, if you’re like me, regretting, at times, the kinds of things you’ve focused your energy on or the things you didn’t prioritize. Maybe you have a pattern of losing sight of what matters most in your life. If that’s you, then I think you might need this as much as I do.
