Any story that ends with someone trying to throw Jesus over a cliff is going to get my attention. That’s exactly where the biblical story I've been studying this week ends up – with people so furious at Jesus that they want to pitch him over a cliff! So why are they that angry at Jesus? On the surface, their reaction seemed to have nothing to do with us. But when I dug down deeper into the characters in the story, I realized we are all at risk of the same reaction. I believe, that underneath it all, there is this fundamental decision that every one of us who is on a spiritual journey needs to decide…can we evolve?
