Water Sunday: Taking Water to Our World

Sometimes the best way to live out our spirituality is to step outside our usual routine and simply show up for someone else.

On September 13th, we took the morning off from our Spiritual Gym for Water Sunday—an opportunity to put our focus into action by serving someone, helping a neighbour, volunteering, or simply lending a hand.

There was no single way to participate and no big project everyone had to join. Instead, we encouraged our Friends community to look around, see where a little help was needed, and do something about it.

Because making a difference doesn’t always require a grand gesture. Sometimes it’s a conversation, a helping hand, an hour of your time, or doing something that makes someone else’s day a little easier.

Water Sunday was a reminder that spirituality isn’t just something we talk about on Sunday mornings. It’s something we carry with us into our homes, our neighbourhoods, our workplaces, and our community.

Thank you to everyone who took the morning to help a neighbour, volunteer, or simply lend a hand.
