I've spent a lot of time looking at words. What words do we like, what words don’t we.
I can’t think of a more loaded and divided word than “Christian”.
What does the word mean? For some this word is synonymous with being judgmental and close-minded. For some it means right wing politics. For some it’s an identity that brings comfort. For some it describes people who hurt them,
What should we do with the word “Christian”?
Is it time to throw it away? Or is it time to reinterpret it? Is there even a way forward with this word?
Join us this week as we not only explore the word “Christian” and what it means, but also how we are going to let it impact our lives. Should be a full and a bit of a scary conversation, but it’s needed so we are going to go there. See you Sunday.
