I have to admit, it’s brought me pleasure watching in the news, how some of the most powerful people in the entertainment and business world are being held responsible for the way they’ve misused their power. After years of manipulating and abusing people for their own pleasure or need, they’re being called out – held accountable for the harm they’ve caused. I say, “make them pay – throw the book at them. It’s vile what they’ve done to these innocent people!”
But hang on. If I’m really honest, I have to admit I’ve controlled and manipulated people. People I love. You likely have too. Hopefully not in any illegal way. But hurtful? In ways that have caused resentment and bitterness? Sadly, quite likely.
Why do we do this?
