Change is hard, isn’t it?
I still remember the day when my business partner came in and announced that he was going to resign to pursue a different career path. We were just a small organization and his departure would mean gaping holes, requiring massive change and restructuring to fill them. The news hit me like a bomb. I remember the fear and the stress of the days and weeks that followed as I and others had to embrace new roles and expanded levels of responsibility. It’s easy now to see that an exciting 10 year season as a team had ran it’s course and a new, different season was needing to emerge, but at the time the future seemed terrifying…so uncertain. I would have done anything to keep things status quo. Have you ever felt that way?

Understanding and embracing the different and changing seasons of our lives is a huge part of the human experience, but let’s face it, it doesn’t happen easily or naturally.
