Speaker: Jeff Jarvis

Every Sunday, my phone sends me a note telling me how much time I spent on it in the past week and the breakdown of which apps consumed the most time. If I’m honest, those reports are rarely encouraging. I’m often left wondering how on earth I spent that much time on my phone but more importantly what I could have been doing instead.

In the same way, I’ve often wondered, where the bulk of my emotional/mental/physical energy in any given week, is being spent? What kinds of activities consumed the most horsepower? Would I be happy/proud of how I invested my limited, sacred energies? Though I know, some weeks, the answers would have been upsetting, I’ve found it to be a worthwhile exercise.

No, this isn’t a new concept…ancient literature is filled with instruction and caution about the kinds of things we invest our energies in. This Sunday I want to explore all of this and some ways we can optimize our energy investment strategies. I hope you’ll invite a friend join us either in person or online.
