Project Mexico March 25 - April 1, 2026

For nearly 20 years, Friends Church has been Taking Water to families in Mexico—partnering with them to build safe, lasting homes. Through Project Mexico, we’ve helped construct more than 30 houses for families who once lived in overcrowded shelters without even a door to lock. A secure home changes everything—it restores dignity, opens the door to hope, and gives families a foundation to build their future.

But the impact doesn’t stop in Mexico. Over the years, hundreds of people from our own community have discovered that they, too, are Water Carriers—people who bring life and positive change wherever they go. Parents often tell us that their teens return from the trip transformed—more grateful, more compassionate, and more eager to give of themselves.

As one of our alumni, who even had the words "Take Water" tattooed on his arm, reminds us: Taking Water isn’t just a project—it’s a way of life.

Come be a part in 2026!

Each team member is responsible for raising approximately $3,000 to cover their portion of the trip. As a Community our goal is to raise additional funds to pay for a stove and even a solar panel if possible.

Taking Water to Mexico - Sunday Message

Project Mexico Sunday Message Update

A few weeks ago, a dedicated team from Friends Church—students, parents, and adults—embarked on a life-changing journey to Tijuana, Mexico. Together, they partnered with a resilient family wrestling with poverty to build something truly transformative: a home. For nearly 20 years, this annual project has been about more than just construction—it’s about hope, connection, the power of community...simply "Taking Water".

This Sunday, we invite you to join us as we tell the story of this year’s trip through team members who went and explain why it continues to impact not just the families in Mexico but also those of us here at Friends Church.
